Adorable Rabbits

Miniature Lops and Netherland Dwarfs

(The Black Otter) Tan Pattern

The Netherland Dwarf was derived from a Polish Rabbit and a Wild Rabbit in the early 1900s in Holland.  The Dwarf was introduced into the UK in the late 1940s.

The Netherland is one of the small breeds of rabbit reaching an adult weight of around 1.2kg.  The breed can be timid, but with interaction at an early age, these rabbits make great pets .  The Lifespan is similar to the Miniature Lop and averages 5-10 years.
